About Us
1. Our Story
Laasya Trends wasn’t just a business idea — it was born during a deeply personal phase of my life. During pregnancy, I often found myself wide awake at night, restless yet brimming with ideas. In those quiet hours, this passion project became my companion. What started as a creative outlet soon turned into a side hustle alongside my full-time job.
Later, when I chose to step away from my career to focus on my child, Laasya didn’t support me financially — but it held me emotionally. It gave me purpose, identity, and a piece of myself that I wasn’t ready to let go of. Today, I’m still learning how to balance motherhood with my passion, but this little dream of mine continues to keep me going.
2. Why Laasya
When I was expecting, we didn’t find out the baby’s gender. So, we had two names ready — one for a boy and one for a girl. Our son was named Ishaan. And this business, my other baby, was named Laasya.
In classical Indian dance, Laasya represents grace, beauty, and the delicate strength of the feminine spirit. It felt like the perfect name for a brand that celebrates the elegance and resilience of Indian womanhood — both in what we wear and in who we are.
3. What We Do
Laasya Trends offers thoughtfully curated Indian ethnic wear for women in the USA — from ready-to-ship saree blouses and heirloom-inspired sarees to lehengas, suits, and jewelry. We work closely with artisans and weavers from across India, bringing their craft to your doorstep — with fit support, alteration services, and a warm, boutique experience that feels personal.
Whether you're dressing up for a celebration or looking for something that just feels like home, we’ve got you covered.
4. More Than a Boutique
Laasya Trends is a labor of love — and a community in the making. It’s for the women who want to embrace their roots while living abroad. For moms rediscovering themselves. For anyone who misses the vibrance and ease of shopping in India.
Through our weekly drops, WhatsApp group, and boutique visits, we’re not just selling clothes. We’re creating connection, confidence, and continuity — between tradition and today.
